Whether or not you are familiar with Micropower Impulse Radar (MIR), also known as guided wave radar, there is one important fact you need to know: Gems Detector ?Series are the most affordable radar liquid level sensors ever brought to market.

Years in development, our key goal was to make radar affordable for original equipment manufacturers, while retaining robust performance so necessary in process use. Gems Detector price-performance statistics are going to change the way you think about using radar for liquid level sensing!

Detector sensors are currently available in two dual-guide versions: solid rods and flexible rods. Each has particular advantages that suit a variety of special requirements, yet they share many common high-performance traits.

The RF Capacitance Point Level Sensor (ap-c) is a highly versatile point level measurement device with a sensing capability which permits reliable indication in a wide range of dry bulk and liquid materials.
Gems Sensors announces acquisition of Pressure Devices, Inc.

Plainville, CT, February 18, 2003 Connecticut-based fluid sensor manufacturer, Gems Sensors Inc., announced today the acquisition of Pressure Devices, Inc. (PDI), West Union, S.C., manufacturer and distributor of a wide selection of industrial pressure switches.

This acquisition is an important step in our ongoing effort to expand our product portfolio, which, in turn, strengthens our strategic partner status with key OEM customers, said Steve Breitzka, President, Gems Sensors. our number one priority over the next few months is to apply Danaher Business System tools to improve on-time delivery and shorten lead times to better serve PDI's customers. We are very excited about the growth potential of this product line.

The Vibratory Point Level Sensor (ap-v) provides reliable point level detection in a wide variety of process control applications within the powder and bulk solids market.  A special feature of this unit is its ease of use. This device is a reliable solution for applications that involve high temperatures and offers a split-architecture design which removes the electronics to a remote mounting location away from the vessel.
The Rotory Paddle Point Level Sensor (ap-r) is easy to install and is a proven performer in a wide variety of bulk materials. This unit incorporates a feature that automatically shuts off the motor when the paddle is in a stalled position, preventing motor burn-out and extends the life of the unit. The ap-r comes in a precision machined explosion-proof housing allowing for installation in hazardous locations.
Horizontal Mounting Type Level Switches - Side mounting installation, square or round flange, 10kg/cm2 pressure, 180oC temperature , contact rating 250VAC, 5A, SPDT or DPDT, Float and Stem SUS 304, Flange/Body -ALBC2  Applications: H.F.O / D.O/ L.O. tanks, Settling Tank, Sludge tank, fresh water tank and others.

SST Series Smart Transmitters-SST Series SMART transmitters are microprocessor-based intruments that combine the analog signal advantages (4 to 20ma) together with the flexibility of digital communication (Bell 202 Standard FKS) using HART?protocol. They can be remotely configured by a universal hand held terminal (HHT) or by a PC with a dedicated interface and software. Moreover, it is possible to locally configure the instruments by means of 2 pushbuttons and to display the data on the wide LCD display. The measuring elements is a piezoresistive sensor. It is possible to choose a variety of sensors to satisfy all conditions
SHORTI 2001 Ultrasonic Level Transmitter for Liquid & Solid -As from June 2001 the SHORTI will take on a new appearance. A more aesthetically pleasing enclosure has been designed to meet the increased need from customers that demand an instrument with a unique appearance. The SHORTI is still able to measure liquid and solid materials up to a range of 5m. Performance specifications remain similar to the original SHORTI while some added features have been included.
